I’m a retired Structural Engineer with 45 years of experience with both static and dynamic structures and a lock picking Noobie who is just starting this hobby. I wanted to start with top quality tools if I was going to tackle this hobby and hours of YouTube videos and blogs led me to Peterson. I also have a bit of arthritis and I has concerned about the pick handles so once again my research brought me to Peterson. Although people seemed to love the feel and feedback of these handles my structural background made me look into the integrity of the plastic handles. An email query to Peterson got me a quick response and full explanation of the philosophy and manufacturing process involved in these handles by Ken Persson at Peterson. His prompt and concise explanation confirmed I was dealing with the right company. Now I need to learn how to use the tools!

Overall Rating
The picks are the best I've ever bought, and I love the case! However I do have an issue with the case. It may be that I haven't carried it enough, but either way. The case is a little too fluffy for my normal carry. It is nice that my picks are excellently protected, but the thickness bothers me. This is purely a personal preference. Other than that this kit is absolutely amazing, and I have enjoyed every second of using them!
