Product Description
Because of customer requests this product is now offered in 0.018 (as shown). You might also find it in our 0.015 thickness if there are any left.
Our DCAP Series Picks are made to incorporate a dramatically reduced "shank" height to address pinning strategies intended to be restrictive, for traditional pick designs. Typically these Deep Cut Access Picks address the issues encountered when a key has its deepest cuts close to the bow of the key. This pick was instead designed with Bi-Axial pins in mind. You may need to custom taper the tip based on your specific needs, but isn't it sweet that you can manipulate Bi-Axial pins to front, mid or aft? This is a GSP Plastic Handle (Government Steel Plastic) product. The hard fiber filled handles readily transmit every vibration from your picking, and the pick's light weight makes it extremely agile and responsive. Our Government steel is a legend in itself: Our proprietary steel is high tensile, but at the same time it is ductile instead of brittle. The textured handles insure your grip is secure.

Lifter Pick 1 - DCAP - Euro Slender
I really like using this lifter pick. It makes it real easy to 'feel' the pins and pick what hasn't been set.

LIFTER PICK 1 - DCAP - EURO SLENDER
Don't monkey around, get the good tool the 1st time. This will quickly increase your single pin picking accuracy, the cap will drop/lift exactly onto pins. Soon your accuracy will improve and you can pick gnarly locks, personally I have multiples. So it might be time for some Medico. Thanks guys :)

Love this pick!
The dcap slender really lets you feel and grip pins and push them high up even in paracentric key ways. The .018 thickness is just thin enough to get into most any key way while still being super strong and not bending or breaking. Love All the grips on Peterson picks and since buying my first and now having a bit more money to spend I’ve purchased just about every pick they make in .025, .018, and .015 in plastic handles. Have a couple high durometer rubber handles and like them but am waiting to see if the original rubber recipe is worth the wait and money and if so I’ll probably end up buying up at least my edc in rubber and probably all of them. I waited a long time to start purchasing petersons products and wish i just started there because while sparrows makes great stuff petersons picks are much better quality and feel. Like all picks they need a bit of sanding and polishing but not nearly as much as some others. The only similar quality I’ve seen out of the box is multipick and sparrows but neither have that grip and hand feel you get from petersons.
