The Peterson Pry Bars are for the many locksmiths who requested a strong and solid tension tool for applying "top of the key way" tension.
This set include tools at 0.050, o.040 and 0.030 in both the "with teeth" and "no teeth" configurations.
This strong-arm partner is notched to eliminate contact with the first pin, flat to fit in your pick set, and has our 3 serrated edge technology that locks it in any key way and the 3 "no teeth" for those doing repetitive picking of the same lock. I recently saw that the English wrote a book for their intelligence people on "How to make lock-picks" and in that book they had a square cut "top of key-way” turning tool. (That would be bottom of key-way of course in Europe). So I stand corrected, I did not invent the flat top of keyway turning tool, I just designed the first that I knew of! :-)
A customer recently shared with me:
"It does not matter what width of non-Peterson turner you use, the shape of that keyway, when tensioning clockwise, drives them all out of that keyway. The Peterson Turner, by design, stays in the keyway. Light or heavy tension, does not matter."
