Product Description
GREAT FOR TOP OF KEY WAY PICKING. Who says you can't please everyone? When several locksmiths felt our original pry bar was too thick for some of their needs, we did just that. Now almost everyone buys both! At 0.040" the Peterson Pry Bar Lite has the same great features as our Pry Bar, but with a little more flexibility of key way fit. Of course it has our serrated edge technology applied to lock it in the key way! It is made from the same Government Stainless Steel that made the original pry bar such a hit in the field.
OUR PRY-BARS WERE DESIGNED IN THE USA, MADE IN THE USA, AND ARE MADE FROM OUR SECRET GOV STEEL.
I recently saw that the English wrote a book for their intelligence people on "How to make lock-picks" and in that book they had a square cut "top of key-way” turning tool. (That would be bottom of key-way of course in Europe). So I stand corrected, I did not invent the flat top of keyway turning tool, I just designed the first that I knew of! :-)
A customer recently shared with me:
"It does not matter what width of non-Peterson turner you use, the shape of that keyway, when tensioning clockwise, drives them all out of that keyway. The Peterson Turner, by design, stays in the keyway. Light or heavy tension, does not matter."
I would like to thank the many people who have voluntarily told me they won’t buy these competitor products because they are “knock offs” and they do not think that this is right. But more importantly, I truly appreciate those who do buy our products because they see them as superior!

Pry
Excellent little prybar, requires a little more force to effectively use it than I’m used to but once I figured out how much to use I was getting some locks open I was really struggling with. Good feedback as well

.040 pry bar
Perfect and quality! Wish they made this in a bent version for ergonomic purposes but totally worth the money as is!

Fits well, doesn't get in the way
This is my go-to tension wrench when picking. I like the short end. It really doesn't take up too much space, allowing me to comfortably maneuver my pick beside it.

Excellent for both TOK and BOK work
This bar is useful with Euro locks and certain paracentrics, and allows precise control of tension, which I found very helpful when controlling rotation of the plug in a lock having lots of spool pins. I've used it most effectively as BOK tension recently. #lcoksport
